Alberta Iannicelli Azienda Agricola

Our family is from Ceraso, Italy a town in the south between the beach and the mountain. Iannicelli is the family name that has carried for generations the olive oil business.

For decades our family use to own lands here and olive trees and Enrico Iannicelli, at the end of 1800, started to develop the export business of the olive oil, producing and selling our own brand and producing and packing also for private labels overseas.

The business has passed from father to son from 1800 till today. At the beginning of 1990, the company arrived at Alberta Iannicelli that is the 4th generation, and together with Pantaleo De Luca, they are still managing the company.

In 2020, Enrico and Felice De Luca, 5th generation, have carried out a rebranding of the company, starting with a restyling of the labels, bottles, communication, and expanding again the business overseas.

All this happens in Cilento. Cilento is the home of the Mediterranean Diet, a lifestyle typical of the areas of the Mediterranean basin, one of the most recommended by dieticians and nutritionists, has as its fundamental points: variety and completeness.

The main characteristics of the Mediterranean diet are the low consumption of saturated fats and the important presence of fiber and carbohydrates, while the intake of monounsaturated fats deriving from olive oil, which is also rich in benefits, is high.

Our olive oils are mainly 3: Sopraffino di Ceraso, Finissimo di Ceraso and Extra Fine di Ceraso.

Our labels are a unique restyling of our heritage olive oil tins that used to be shipped in South America in the late 1800s. We produce monocultivar of Pisciottana and unique blends of Pisciottana, Rotondella and Oglistra.
