Pj Kabos ‘Family Reserve Organic – Medium’
A very early harvest, this is made from pristine, hand-harvested, organic olives of the Koroneiki variety. The groves are located in the mystical mountains of Peloponnese, Greece, close to the site of Ancient Olympia. The extraction process at the mill happens immediately after harvest and the result is a product of very low acidity with a medium tasting intensity, complex, persistent, and very high in healthy Polyphenols (481 mg/kg, HPLC)
About Producer
In the 1890’s our family settled in the Ancient Olympia vicinity; we were to become wine and current producers, physicians, governors, artists and writers. In the 1960’s we converted our vineyards to olive groves, and this is where our olive oil story begins. As these trees matured, they nourished three generations, their yearly harvest becoming entwined with the family narrative.
