The story of
Melissi is a Greek company launched by two young brothers, Panos and Thanos Kloutsiniotis.
Passionate about the premium olive oil produced in the ancient region of Corinthia, they were inspired by a single vision: to create truly authentic Greek products.
They harvest three indigenous olive varieties, exclusively grown in the Peloponnese region. Megaritiki, Patrinia (both are very rare and unique) and Koroneiki (the most famous variety in Greece). The design of LADOLEA’s ceramic bottle is inspired by an ancient Corinthian pot, “Aryballos” (700 B.C.).
This pot was well known for its use by Olympic athletes to cover their bodies in olive oil before the games and by the aristocracy of the era, for preserving their valuable essential oils and aromas.

The LADOLEA organic extra virgin olive oil of Patrinia variety comes from the seaside village Melissi in Corinthia, Greece. It has a delicate and sweet aroma, banana and herbal notes and a light gold colour.
